In the afternoon your guide will show you the highlights of Florence. Dinner on own. Overnight.

After lunch, continue the drive through the undulating hills and valleys of Chianti, making a stop in a winery famous not only for its wines but also for the olive oil and the balsamic vinegar of excellent quality.

Close to Siena, this is a fortified and walled village mentioned in Dante’s Divine Comedy for its glorious past. In the afternoon visit San Gimignano, an impressive medieval hilly town, characterized by its numerous watch-towers; like ancient skyscrapers they are incredibly well preserved from the 12th century. After an orientation walk with your driver guide, make a pleasant stop and try the best gelato (it won the prize for the best handmade gelato in the world!!)
At the end of the visits, drive back to hotel. Dinner and overnight.
Day 5
Today, on leaving the Chianti region, drive through the territory south of Siena, renown with the name of "crete senesi" as it is a clayey ground whose changing colors according to the season render the landscape so fascinating and unique.
On the way to the Umbria region, stop and visit the hilly town of Montalcino. It is here where the world-famous Brunello wine is produced: the King of Sangiovese vine and one of the best Italian wines. Here you will have the exclusive privilege to meet the man whose life and work is strictly linked with Brunello; in the cellars of his villa you will find out why...!
Lunch today is arranged in a farmhouse, in the middle of luxurious countryside. In the afternoon continue your drive and make a stop in a spa that was already famous during the Renaissance. Time to relax and enjoy swimming in an outdoor pool where the sulphur water bubbles at 37° Celsius.
Reach Umbria, your final destination, by late afternoon. One of Italy's smallest regions, it borders with Tuscany and shares with its next door neighbour green, evocative countryside, as well as the production of great extra virgin olive oil and wines.
