Take the boat and admire some of the famous palaces along the Grand Canal. Then reach the Ghetto, where your guide will show you the main Synagogue, and tell you about the history of this important city district.
After a lunch break at leisure (the guide will be glad to give you suggestions), take the boat to reach the islands of Burano and Murano.
Burano is a cute little island, where the colorful houses and the little main square will give you the taste of the typical fishing village. Here you may see also some lace trimming ladies sitting in front of their house door, as it was habit in the past times, chatting and working while wait for their husbands coming back from a long fishing day. The shops offer a wide selection of beautiful embroidered linen. Murano is the island reknown for its blown glass factories. Here you will watch some artists at work.
