Amalfi Coast Excursion

Meet your driver guide and board the van to reach, via highway, Vietri. A little town famous for its handmade pottery, it signs the start of one of the most beautiful panoramic roads in the whole world.

Along the Amalfi coast drive, passing by the cute fishing villages which dot the area, arrive in the town which gives the road its name: Amalfi. The historic centre boasts a masterpiece of Byzantine-Romanesque architecture: the Duomo, built in the XI century, dominates the skyline from an elegant flight of steps.

Sip the original "limoncello" in the main square, before boarding the van to continue your drive to Positano.

The excursion will allow you the view of the whole length of the coast: a true delight of villas, guard towers, fiords, luxurious vegetation which will fill your eyes with joy. Positano has a few reasons to be famous for: its typical fashion "moda Positano", colourful dresses and handmade sandals; its typical “scalinatelle” (more than a thousand little steps going up and downhill); the little elegant beach and the blue waters reflecting the profile of this “vertical” town against a backstage of mounts falling sheer to the sea.

Walk down to the harbour to take the hydrofoil for the island of Capri. Upon arrival, enjoy a walking tour with your tour guide. Take the gondola to reach the world famous "piazzetta" , where it is a must to enjoy a drink watching the world passing by.

Walk along the island’s narrow lanes, to find out its picturesque spots; see the "faraglioni", the Garden of Roman Emperor Tiberius. In the afternoon take the jetfoil back to your ship in Naples (or hotel).
